In 2002, Zamani Chemicals was founded by a group of retrenched fathers with a vision to build a sustainable, black-owned manufacturing business that could create opportunities where uncertainty once existed. Today, under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Duduzile (Dudu) Sithole, one of the founders' daughters, Zamani Chemicals is entering a new chapter of growth with the expansion of its manufacturing capacity through the addition of new production silos at its Ekurhuleni facility.
What began as a bold entrepreneurial response to adversity has evolved into a thriving South African manufacturer employing approximately 50 people, serving leading organisations and contributing to localisation, industrial development, and inclusive economic growth. This milestone is a powerful example of intergenerational leadership, business continuity, and the renewal of South African manufacturing.
